An independent neighborhood theater, welcoming and run by true movie lovers!

Today, our building has been renovated and transformed into 6 state-of-the-art screening rooms. Fully financed and managed by our team, it is the only theater in downtown Buffalo open up to 24 hours, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Queen City Pictures holds a special place in the local community through our neighborhood cinema approach, built on 3 major pillars:

Quality programming open to all audiences: national releases of blockbusters, Art House selections, classic heritage films, and family-friendly features.

A partnership policy with local and national organizations that incorporate cinema into their events.

A commitment to film education for young audiences, present since 1952. We naturally participate in all educational programs: Elementary, Middle School, and High School film initiatives, in addition to regular projects we run with kindergartens and the University at Buffalo. We also offer numerous workshops and events to the entire community.
